In the Shadows is gearing up for an unforgettable night of haunted heritage at the historic Hotel St. Nicholas on November 15th. This isn't just another ghost hunt—it's a deep dive into the mysteries and legends that whisper through the halls of one of Cripple Creek's most storied locations.
Rumor has it, beyond the already infamous presences of Stinky and Peter, two seemingly permanent resident spirits about whom little is known, there may be another spectral resident roaming quietly within the hotel's shadows. Recent tales suggest the ghostly presence of Roy Bourquin, a known pyromaniac who tragically lost both his hands and sight in one eye at the age of 14 while playing with blasting caps. Afterward, he stayed at the hospital and worked there as a janitor. Roy passed away in 1958 and was laid to rest at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Will we uncover evidence of this enigmatic visitor? Join us to find out.

We're excited to share that our recent endeavors caught the attention of KRDO, who featured In the Shadows, highlighting our unique approach as "energy listeners," educators, and passionate paranormal investigators. It's wonderful to see the growing interest in paranormal heritage, and we're thrilled to welcome more curious souls into our community.
Don't forget—our podcast has launched and episode two is about to drop, promising stories filled with chills, laughs, and some seriously spooky shenanigans. Keep an eye (and an ear) out for episode two, where we'll share firsthand accounts from our explorations and exclusive interviews with fascinating guests.
Secure your spot at the Hotel St. Nicholas event soon, as spaces are filling quickly. Let's uncover the mysteries that await, together!
