Where haunted history meets heartfelt storytelling.
The Spirit Pack
To my spirit pack! Animals play a vital role in our journey through
life, offering love, comfort, and the kind of companionship
that changes us forever.
Each one has been a cherished guide,
bringing their own unique energy and presence.
I’m grateful for the bonds we’ve shared,
the lessons they’ve taught, and the ways
they continue to inspire me — even from beyond.

Boomerang
Boomerang was my first dog — an English Yellow Labrador with an insatiable love for food and life. She wasn’t just a pet; she was a big sister to Ripley and had a fan club everywhere we traveled.
I’ve always associated one word with each of my dogs, and for Boomerang, that word is love. Her spirit shone bright, especially after an animal communicator revealed she saw herself as “Mountain Feather” — a reflection of her joy in running the trails of Reno, Nevada.
Boomerang wasn’t just part of my family; she was part of my story. Her light remains a piece of every adventure I take.
Ripley
Meet TDR, or That Damn Ripley, named after the fierce character Ripley from Alien. From a young age, she embodied bravery, always ready to protect her little sister Rosie. Ripley's name was loyalty. TDR's love for tennis balls and her adventurous spirit shone through as she dove into water with enthusiasm. In a dramatic encounter with pack of coyotes, she faced the challenge- head on, proving that like Ripley, she was a survivor.

Rosie
Rosie was a wild spirit, full of energy and love, coming into my life at just 8 months old. A mix of Lab and Golden Retriever, she was truly all about her mom. My friends often chose sides between Team Ripley and Team Rosie, but Rosie didn't mind as long as she was by my side. She was my anchor, my quiet mystic, and we shared a life that lasted nearly 15 years, from her birth on October 9, 2007, until her passing on August 5, 2022.
I called her soul.
