Gail Conners I Founder I Spiritualist
Founder of In The Shadows Paranormal, Gail Conners has spent a lifetime exploring the unseen, weaving together history, spirit, and story. What began as a fascination with local lore grew into a mission: to teach others how to investigate the paranormal with respect and care.
Gail believes that spirits are not here for our amusement. They are people — echoes of lives once lived — and deserve to be approached with curiosity and honor. Through tours, investigations, and community events, she shares both her knowledge of tools and techniques, and her passion for listening to the voices that still linger.
Her work is rooted in Colorado’s rich past, but her vision stretches beyond — creating spaces where history, spirit, and human connection meet. Carly brings humor, insight, and a deep reverence for the whispers of the ancestors, Whether she's pulling a card, riffing on hauntingly intriguing headlines, or documenting her adventures through shadowed realms, her energy is playful, magnetic, and deeply intuitive.

Christine Owen has been chasing chills and thrills with Gail since 2003, when they first bonded as neighbors in Colorado Springs. A longtime ghost-hunting sidekick and travel buddy, Christine brings sharp wit, fearless curiosity, and a love for all things spooky—from haunted history to horror flicks and Shark Week. When she’s not helping explore the unknown, she’s a devoted mom of two, an avid reader, and a familiar face in local theater. She's also one of the few brave souls who can handle Gail's ghost jokes on repeat.
